recently, i've kinda felt like jerri blank in 'strangers with candy.' i'm back in school and am taking a lot of classes with people that are ten years younger than me. sometimes, i'm all like 'whatever, i'm older and mysterious.' but sometimes i think really hard about what to wear to my writing class because the cool girl is in it, and i want her to like my outfit. and i'm doing all kinds of 18 year old things like ditching class to go play shows and going on road trips, but it's better now because i'm old enough to get into bars.
on wednesday, october 13th, i'm playing a show at the camel with dark, dark, dark (from MN), liza kate and zac hyriziak. i just recently heard of dark, dark, dark. they rule, and i'm skipping my psych class to go.
october 31st i'm playing the fest in gainesville, which will be a lot of fun. last year i was getting over the swine flu and had to write 12 page paper. i don't think i'll have a paper due this time, and swine flu doesn't even exist anymore.
hopefully, i'll also have a real legit album for sale by then, too! i'll definitely have t shirts that i think are pretty cool.
anyhoo, i have to finish my math homework and think about how to braid my hair for class tomorrow.
